When you’re bombarded every day by stories and images of chaos, World Peace may seem like an impossible dream…
TRANSCRIPTION:
World peace. What a noble aspiration. Having things in the world, everywhere in the world be in harmony, be in flow, be right. Then what a worthy aspiration, right? But, how difficult does it feel when we’re bombarded every day by images and scenes of chaos?
No matter where we look it seems that things are getting worse or at least there’s evidence of that. Things are becoming more uncertain. And, so this whole concept of world peace starts to seem like an impossible dream when every day our senses are assaulted with images of destruction.
And, it’s easy in the middle of this storm of chaos, it’s easy to start to feel that maybe there’s nothing that we can do. But, that doesn’t stop us from striving. That doesn’t stop us from wanting things to be better. And, maybe you’re one of those people. Maybe you are one of those people who is so angered and is so infuriated and is so upset because of all the things that are happening out in the world, that maybe you’re one of those people who’s out there doing something about it. And, maybe you’re doing that in your own unique way with the goal of world peace.
But, what if, what if this whole notion of world peace, this whole idea of making the outside world better, what if there’s a way to actually do it? What if there’s a way to get it out of the idea of just being a dream and actually bring it into your reality, actually bring this dream to life? What if there’s a way to do that? Well, think about this.
World peace, isn’t that just another way of saying that everybody in the world is feeling peaceful? That everybody in the world is feeling more calm, more centered, happier, more creative, more productive, more loving? So, this chasing of world peace, what if that’s just another way of saying that I want everybody else to feel better so that I can feel better? And, what if, what if all of those other people are waiting on you?
What if all those other people actually just need to see someone who’s living their own life, who’s happy with who they are, who’s happy where they are? Because from that place, a feeling more confident, feeling more calm, from that place of having a life that is steadily improving, you have so much influence and so much ability to affect real change because you’re leading by example.
And, from that place of peaceful power you can still go out and do the things that it takes to make the world a better place. But, why settle for taking those actions from a place of fear or a place of need or a place of overwhelm? Why not take those actions from a place of self-authorization?
Why not take those actions from a place of peaceful power? And then watch as the interactions that you have with other people, watch as the way that you begin to see the world starts to become a reflection of the world inside of you.
World peace comes from inner peace. And, that is within your power.
