Fact: Money only comes from ONE place.
Here’s how to get more of it.

So you’re an influencer. That means you craft messages and maybe you make videos or you create podcasts or you’ve written a book or you get on stage and you speak. Maybe you just do your own thing. With the central focus of influencing someone so that they take some sort of action. Presumably that action includes making some sort of investment in whatever it is that you’re offering, right? And if that’s not you, go find another video. But if it is you, if you are an influencer and if you do care about people and you believe that you have something of value that helps people to enrich their lives for which you would like to receive a fair profit. Then what I’m about to tell you could be very valuable.
Where does money come from? Do you hear all the isosteric, culturally approved answers popping into your mind? Where does money come from? And you hear things like value exchange, value creation, free market economy, laissez faire economics. No, value creation or money comes from being in alignment, man. Yeah, I remember thinking that too. Except when I was starting my business, I sat and meditated so I could be in alignment. And I would sit there and I would go, mmmmmmmm, money. And low and behold, it wasn’t there. So I’m not saying alignment doesn’t help, but alignment by itself is not where money comes from. What about hard work? Intelligence? How about just being a good person? Well all of these answers, while not inaccurate, every single one of them is incomplete.
Where does money come from? Other people’s bank accounts. And every dollar you’ve ever received, every euro, every pound, every piece of cryptocurrency you’ve ever received, right before it jumped into your account, it was in someone else’s. And so the whole trick to having money flow into your life is understanding why would somebody make a decision that would cause them to transfer funds from their account to yours. Well this is very simple and now we get into this very basic, very easy psychology of actual practical influence. Not just making a bunch of content, hoping that people buy. Not just posting and praying, hoping that people like your comment. I’m talking about creating actual value that people go, oh my god, sign me up. And then they try and throw money at you.
If that sounds a little bit crass for you, well this is the reality. Money comes from other people’s bank accounts and it only comes into your account when somebody makes a powerful decision. And so, as an influencer, this is what I’ve discovered. And I’m sure you have your version of this discovery as well. Telling somebody how good your product is, telling them how great your service is, telling them what an amazing experience you can provide or having other people tell them through testimonials, that’s all really cool. But who’s the most important person here? Is the most important thing our product, our service? Or is the most important thing what’s going on in the mind and in the heart and in the actual real time like experience of your client, of your customer.
Is it more important what a nice pedigree we have? As seen on, fill in the major media blank. Or is it more important that they understand that we know what they’re going through? And this is why we see a lot of one-hit wonders in the marketing community. A lot of people who figure out the perfect funnel. They figure out the perfect hook, the perfect trip wire. What a horrible term for marketing, trip wire. Trip wire is used to catch small game or to kill an enemy combatant. Is that the adversarial relationship that we want with the people that we’re serving?
So instead of being in this us against them, let me prove to you how good I am, let me show you, bam, bam, bam, bam. Here’s how great I am. Why don’t we just turn that around and actually begin to care about what the customer and the prospect is going through. What is the problem that exists in their life? And more than that, what is the pain that that problem is creating? Yes, this requires you, as an influencer, to be as much in your heart as you are in your head. But if you allow yourself to go there, if you allow yourself to actually practice a radical, tactical empathy, then your experiencing an empathy for another human being and that’s how every sale is made, is one human being at a time, making a decision to eliminate the pain and the problem that they have. And they will choose to do so with you over and over and over again as long as they continually believe that you understand what they’re going through. And you’re describing what’s possible for them. Now this is not complicated, this is actually quite simple.
Because I imagine you’ve had times in your life where you were going through a problem, where there was some pain that that problem was creating. And when that was happening, what were you doing? You’re Googling, what do I do about? And you enter your uniquely personal search term. Now while most of the personal development world and the spiritual community would have everyone believe that they are their affirmations, now if you want to see who you really are, look at your search history. Look at your browser history and that will tell you what’s on your mind. So for you to make as much money as you can envision making is really simple. Find the pain, find the problem and speak to that. Not in a way of gouging the pain. Not in a way of manipulating the pain.
Simply reflecting it. Simply letting your audience know that you understand where they’re at. Commerce comes from connection first. And trust, trust is a two sided coin. And the more trust you have, the faster things go. So this idea of being a wealthy influencer just comes down to understanding where does money come from? Why does it transfer? And where do you have to focus on? Yes, I’m sure your stuff is great. Your product, your service, your experience, everything you bring to the table. There’s no question about that. And you’re just going to keep getting better, right? But do you want to see a sharp rise in income? You want to see your profits continue to multiply?
Continue to go deeper and deeper into the mind and the heart of what your customer’s experiencing right now. Look for the pain. Find a way to help them to ease that pain. And you’ll be able to make as much money as you can imagine.
