It’s easy to get caught up in the desire to change your surroundings, but tuning into your environment instead is a powerful and positive way to energize your growth.

It’s so easy to get caught up in the desire to change things around us, to change our environment, to change our bodies, to change our relationship, change our money, change our job, and there’s a lot of value in that.
There’s also a lot of value in allowing yourself to be changed by a place, to allow yourself to become aware of the energy that places have, to be more tuned in to your environment, to notice the different sensations and sounds, to see things that you haven’t seen before in exactly that way, to feel the energy of a place and to allow that energy to affect you.
You know, instead of just acting as the artist, or the poet, or the creator, what if once in a while we just allowed ourselves to become the canvas, and we allowed ourself to be affected by, by some of the beauty that’s around us instead of needing to be in charge and controlling everything. We just allow ourselves once in a while to surrender a little bit more, to allow ourselves to soak in fully everything that is around us.
I believe that this is a key component of expansion, not just continually striving, and pushing, and making things happen, but to just stop, to just pause and who knows, maybe even do what it takes to get in some different environments, get around some different places, change your trajectory, move to a different place, and allow yourself to be impacted, allow yourself to be affected, so that you can grow, so that you can expand, and then you could come back to whatever environment you want to come back to, as an expanded version of you.
