This may surprise you, but Bullies and Victims are energetically matched.
One cannot exist without the other.

What if I told you that bullies and victims are a perfect match for one another? Sounds strange, right, but check it out. This is a natural flow of energy between people. This actually occurs everywhere in the natural world. Even when we look in nature and we see predator and prey, we don’t think of that as a bully and a victim, but that is a natural cycle of life.
But when it comes to being bullied, human beings have a choice. And if we want to end bullying, the way to end that is to end victimization. And ending victimization can only be done one person at a time. We don’t eliminate bullying by educating or stopping the bully.
That’s up to the person who’s experiencing the bullying, the person who’s experiencing injustice, the person who is in a place of weakness. I’m not suggesting that they deserve it. I’m not suggesting that they created that. I am saying that the moment someone decides not to be a victim anymore, that’s the moment that things begin to change, and no one can make that choice except for the victim.
So to end this victimization is not through intervention; it’s through empowerment. If you find yourself in a position to help someone who has been a victim, the best thing you can do for them is to see the strength that they actually have. And if you’ve ever experienced this yourself, the answer is the same.
To move past the experience of victimization and begin to focus on the strength. To begin to focus on the energy and the power that’s always there. Ending bullying happens one individual at a time, and that choice is the choice that’s always available. So for you, whether you are in a position to help someone, or whether you’re in a position to help yourself, you can always make the choice to never be a victim again, to see the strength that’s inside of you, to experience that strength one thought, one feeling, and one behavior at a time.
Bullying and victimization may be a naturally occurring phenomenon, but it doesn’t have to be a permanent one.
